2010-2011 Class Schedules Now Available

The 2010-2011 class schedules are now available on the website. Registration for classes will take place August 1-2, 2010 at the studio.

**All students with solo or duet need to schedule private lessons now and may want to schedule some extras right before competition.

The 2010 National TOP dance schedule is now available on the Center Stage website.

May/June newsletter is posted on website

The newsletter contains important information about recital, the Relay for Life and summer camps.

Business Ads are due Monday!

The deadline for submitting ads is Monday, May 10. All ads will be in black and white, no color to keep the costs reasonable. Please have a business card, pictures, etc. and the layout ready to hand in on May 10th. This will assure your ads will be done right and have time to proof if needed. Parents are welcome to buy an ad to cheer on your dancer in the recital. The top ad sales student will win a full page ad on back cover of program with a picture.

Pre-order flowers for recital

Flower orders are due no later than Friday, May 14th. There will be some extra flowers for sale at the recital. Flowers will be provided by The Flower Patch & More and can be picked up at the dance recital. The order form is available on the Center Stage website.

Competition Memory Book

We are taking orders for Competition memory books. These books contain approximately 200 photos from the Showcase and are being professionally done by Creative Images. Each book cost $15. Please fill out an order form that is in the entryway and pay at the time of order. Deadline to order memory books is May 1st!!

Recital Information on website

Recital 2010 information including picture schedule, costume detail lists, business ad forms and the tight order form are all available on the Current Students page on the Center Stage website.

Tights need to be ordered by April 8, that's Thursday!

If you need tights for pictures/ recital you must order them now!!! All orders are due by Thursday, April 8th to ensure they will be here for pictures.

COMPETITION SHOWCASE THIS WEEKEND!!

Everyone is invited to come and cheer on all of our dancers that will be performing at the Talent On Parade Dance Competition in Joplin. There is a Showcase of all performances this Saturday, March 6th, at the Bolivar High School Auditorium. The doors open at 1pm, show begins at 2pm. This is a free show for all and parents are encouraged to take video and pictures since we will not be allowed to at the actual competition. GOOD LUCK DANCERS!!

Competition T-shirt orders are due today

You do not have to buy a competition t-shirt, but we will be wearing them at competition and we stand out as a team when we match, plus it makes a great cover-up. You are encouraged to wear all your Center Stage attire and show your studio spirit!! If you want to buy a Center Stage warm up suit, dance bag or garment bag, get your order in now!!

Saturday Practices

Don't forget! Competition practice begins this Saturday, February 20, 2010. Please check the practice schedule on the website.

We will have class on Monday, Feb. 15, 2010

Although some schools will not be in session on Monday in honor of President's Day, we will be having dance classes on that day.

REMINDER:

Competition tights order is due this Friday, February 5th!!! If you need to order any shoes or other things for competition like eyelashes, nude leotards or bra for your costumes let me know!!

Hey Guys & Girls!! The January Newsletter is on the website now. Sorry about the delay! Also, competition information is being handed out during classes and also available on the site.

REMINDER: If Bolivar Schools are closed due to bad weather, Center Stage will also be closed. We have Snow Days built in with the Saturday practices in May, but if the numbers of missed days become really big, we will add some more Saturdays later. Also, please use your judgement when weather turns bad in the evenings because we may cancel classes if it starts to look dangerous. You may want to call first. Thanks!!
